The primavera is a large rainforest canopy tree, sometimes reaching to height of 100 feet in the natural rainforest. It has relatively smooth whitish bark and intense yellow flowers that grow in large clusters that bloom several times a year in Puerto Vallarta.

If you see a large tree with showy yellow flowers and no green leaves, that is a primavera. There is one in Casa Primavera as well as in many other places in Old Town.
